The world is full of amazing Architecture which brings great enjoyment that leads in many directions.
With “Architecture ＆ Enjoyment” as a guiding principle, Gallery A4 (“Gallery A-quad”) aims to be a gallery where everyone, from the general public to experts, can enjoy architecture at any time, introducing ways of enjoying architecture through a variety of media.
Through the latest technology, art, photography, video, publications, and other media that reflect the sensibilities of the times, we hope to utilize “Architecture Enjoyment” projects to convey something about the “Atmosphere” (the surroundings) of various aspects of contemporary society, with a focus on architecture but also including art, history, environment, and education. We also conduct a variety of interactive activities such as lectures, as well as other activities such as architectural tours and practical workshops with the view to expanding access to people, including children, so they can enjoy architecture first-hand.
It is our hope that, by bringing the enjoyment of architecture to as many people as possible and fostering interest in and an attachment to architecture in our daily lives, we can contribute to the development of architecture within our cultures.
A4=A3(Architecture)×A?
“A” to the third power represents “Architecture”, while the final “A” refers to “Atmosphere” or “Amusement” (enjoyment), or in other words, the time spent for the enjoyment of “Architecture” (A3) as the “fourth dimension” (A4).
